Soft drinks is an exciting, fast paced and always evolving category. At CCEP we already have some of the biggest brands in soft drinks and we continue to bring new brands and innovation to market, offering choice and value to shoppers and our customers. The Commercial Development team are key to driving the brand portfolio through best in class activation in stores and online. You will lead the shopper marketing planning and activation across our brands, translating brand strategy and campaigns into tailored shopper plans. You will also be responsible for developing the channel and customer strategy for eComm, Convenience and Discounters working collaboratively with others in the Commercial Development team, Commercial and Field Sales teams, R&MGM, Category and of course our customers to deliver great execution.
What to expect:
- You will become the shopper expert across your environment, understanding key trends, brand / competitor performance and strategy, shopper barriers & triggers to purchase and CCEP activation priorities.
- You will manage all shopper marketing and agency relationships for your environment and develop plans that deliver the best ROI for CCEP and our customers.
- You will lead capability development in the team and ensure succession planning is in place to maintain a talent pipeline.
- You will support and own the Channel and Activation Plans for your environments, work with the team to ensure delivery against key objectives and challenge plans where they need strengthening.
- You will work collaboratively across multiple departments for your environment to activate all of the relevant commercial, shopper, category and brand strategies to meet the defined ABP metrics.
- You will understand the commercial implications of decisions in order to make the right judgements to unlock best in class activation.
- You will manage and prioritise investment within your environment ensuring spend is within allocated budgets and investments are delivering ROI.
- You will work closely with our brand partners to help shape and influence our plans to meet the needs of our key strategic customers, including securing commitment for customer bespoke initiatives.
- You will develop a senior level contact strategy for all key customers to help influence greater support for our shopper marketing programmes.
Skills & Essentials:
To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate excellent planning and analytical skills, great communication, proactiveness, be commercially focused and confident in communicating with key stakeholders and customers. An ability to understand the needs across a range of stakeholders and making fact-based recommendations will be critical. Experience gained from working within a customer facing role in Shopper Marketing, National Sales, RGM or Category Development is essential. You must have a passion and curiosity for the shopper and be able to develop plans that step changes their behaviour to deliver growth plans for CCEP and our customers.
