Job Purpose
The Senior Manager Ethics and Compliance, Data & Technology is responsible for leading and enabling a data‑ and technology‑driven Ethics & Compliance Programme through system oversight, effective analytics, reporting, and ongoing monitoring. Acting as a subject matter expert for E&C systems, data, analytics, and emerging technologies, the role supports risk‑based decision‑making, programme oversight, and continuous improvement across key Ethics & Compliance risk areas, including Speak Up and Anti‑Bribery & Corruption.
The role enables leaders to make informed, prioritised compliance decisions by translating complex data into actionable insights, and oversees core Ethics & Compliance systems and identifies opportunities to leverage AI, advanced analytics, and internal data insights to strengthen prevention, detection, learning, and ethical decision‑making across the organisation, while managing confidential and sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Ownership, Technology & Systems Oversight
- Serve as the global Ethics & Compliance technical lead for core E&C systems, including case‑management and disclosure platforms, ensuring alignment with legal, whistleblowing and governance requirements.
- Provide subject‑matter oversight of Ethics & Compliance systems and data flows, ensuring effective workflows, data integration, automation and high‑quality reporting.
- Provide strategic oversight and alignment across Ethics & Compliance and related systems (including those managed by Corporate Integrity, Employee Relations, Finance and local tools), and lead continuous improvement of workflows and technology enablement to support consistent compliance, effective data integration, automation and enhanced analytical insight.
Analytics, Reporting & Monitoring
- Lead advanced analytics across Ethics & Compliance data sources (e.g. Speak Up, investigations, disclosures, third‑party data), applying statistical techniques, text analytics and visualisation to identify trends, emerging risks, and actionable insights to support programme oversight and senior‑level reporting.
- Inform risk prioritisation, resource allocation, and escalation decisions at global and local level.
- Analyse emerging misconduct trends and provide insights to influence enterprise and local risk mitigation strategies.
Dashboards, KPIs & Insights
- Design and oversee dashboards and KPIs translating insights into risk‑based actions and escalation discussions.
- Support senior management, committees and audit reporting with clear, defensible insights
AI, Advanced Analytics & Emerging Technology
- Identify and shape opportunities to apply AI, advanced analytics, and process-mining techniques to strengthen risk detection, trend analysis, triage support and behavoural insights across the Ethics & Compliance programme.
- Translate advanced analytical outputs into practical insights to improve prevention, detection and programme effectiveness.
- Support experimentation and continuous improvement through value‑adding analytics and technology use cases.
Governance & Professional Judgement
- Ensure strong data, system and insight governance, including quality, audit‑readiness and proportionality.
- Apply professional judgement to complex or sensitive analytics, system or escalation matters
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner across Legal, Finance, P&C, Internal Audit, and Business Process & Technology to support consistent, insight‑led programme delivery.
- Work with country teams and committees to support effective case handling, reporting and feedback loops
Experiencepreferred
Core
- Significant experience in Ethics & Compliance, Corporate Integrity, Risk, Legal, Internal Audit, or a related field.
- Proven experience in analytics, reporting, and technology enablement within a governance‑driven environment.
- Practical experience working with Ethics & Compliance systems, including case management, reporting, monitoring, and compliance detection or risk‑analytics workflows.
- Experience operating in a complex, multinational organisation with multiple stakeholder groups.
Desirable
- Experience with advanced analytics techniques, AI‑enabled tools, or behavioural / process analytics
- Experience working with compliance technologies or GRC platforms (e.g. NAVEX, ServiceNow GRC, OneTrust or similar)
- Practical exposure to automation, scripting or low‑code tools to improve compliance workflows
- Experience connecting and analysing multiple internal data sources to generate integrated compliance insights
Qualifications required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business Intelligence, Compliance, Law, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (Power BI)
Functional technical skills required
- Ethics & Compliance analytics, reporting and monitoring
- Advanced data analytics, visualisation and risk modelling
- AI‑enabled analytics and automation concepts (including risk detection and triage use cases)
- Compliance technology and GRC platforms (e.g. case management, registers, monitoring tools)
- Data integration, automation and analytics pipelines
- Understanding of global compliance and data governance frameworks
- Data quality, model governance and audit‑readiness
