The role:
The Raw Materials Planner is responsible for the planning, ordering and coordination of logistics for raw materials both locally and internationally to site for beverage production. You ensure that the company doesn’t run out of materials needed to produce its products. The role involves raising of purchase orders and direct collaboration with the Procurement Team to ensure correct pricing and cost efficiencies are achieved in the procuring of materials to site for production.

A well-presented, highly personable, and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum - Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Marketing, Logistics or Planning discipline.
- Excellent in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Access,
- Experience in using S&OP Software (AVAIL) with an understanding in Supply Chain and Warehousing operations.
- Experience understanding of the S&OP process including all aspects of Demand and Supply Planning.
- Good knowledge of requirements for the Transport, Storage and Handling of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods
- Have excellent analytical skills.
- Able to cope with and work under pressure.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
- Result oriented and high achievement in reducing Company losses and increasing profitability.
- Good communication skills
- Have a systematic and diligent approach to work.
- High Ethical Standards.
- Be Team oriented and willing to not only learn but share experiences.
- Be confident.
