Senior Manager, Project Manager, Civil Engineering & Construction,  Engineering & Technology, Pan EU

Job Summary:

The Project Manager, Civil Engineering & Construction, is responsible for defining standards, supplier base and delivery of CCEP civil engineering & construction project initiatives across all European BU’s.
Develop and improve CCEP’s civil & buildings infrastructure through:
a)    Develop technical and economical business case for civil construction works in projects
b)    Deliver civil construction projects or part of projects from concept to handover.  
c)    Define specification & technical strategy through construction standards & methodologies
d)    Deploy CCEP Civils construction and engineering services providers supporting CCEP’s current and future investment needs

What to Expect:
a)    Technical and economical Business Case Development of civils infrastructure projects
•    Identify business requirements defining the scope of the project
•    Develop and align with all relevant stakeholders the best solution for civil & buildings infrastructure projects or as part of major projects
•    Lead and define the development of specific technical solutions and project plans
•    Conduct preliminary analysis on cost, schedule and risks to project and site/capacity operational impact
•    Identify and select the potential building partners delivering the execution


b)    Deliver Engineering Project Management from concept to handover
•    Complete scope, costing, risks within the engineering project management methodology, initiating capital requests.
•    Drive infrastructure project design though 3rd party architect and engineering as per defined in the business case and scope 
•    Lead tendering, selection and appointment of contractors, technical engineering project management and equipment/building fabric
•    Setup project structure enabling exchange with internal/external stakeholders ensuring in scope delivery of business needs
•    Manage project program scope, timing and budgets integrating safety, safe design processes and sustainable solutions
•    Deliver with external partners and site operations resources, the installation and commissioning leveraging contractor relationships and technical expertise to achieve clear handover process to program

c)    Define Design Specification and Technical Strategy
•    Develop and maintain functional specifications and standards for building design
•    Define appropriate technologies standards supporting a safe, hygienic, sustainable and efficient utilization of CCEP Infrastructure
•    Advise on construction materials and construction benchmarking
•    Optimise construction methods enabling effective and economic delivery

d)    Deploy Civils Construction and engineering services provider
•    Identify suppliers, products and technical methodologies capable to support CCEP design specifications both regional as global
•    Setup preferred supplier network to leverage construction costs efficiency, project execution efficiency and technical solution effectiveness for all projects across CCEP territory
•    Apply and deploy CCEP construction Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work

Job breadth:

Pan European role delivering infrastructure projects or civils works as part of major projects  across all European BU’s.
•    Circa 60% in BU of residence and 40% in other BU’s
•    Support sites delivering projects up to €2m

•    Manage and deliver construction projects up to €30m

Skills and Experience:

•    Highly experienced project manager with specific technical skills in Civils Construction and Infrastructure preferably in (Food) Industry. 

•    Preferably a construction engineer however open for technical bachelor with significant construction and project management experience.

•    Adept at conceptualising and developing the projects, processes and plans that will support the delivery of the business’ Infrastructure strategy.  

•    Experience of contributing to strategy development or dealing with complex issues within a BU, group or function. 

•    Experience of leading teams is preferred 

•    Fluent German and English are required

Location:

•   Base region is Germany / Benelux however there will be additional travel international for projects.
