Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join as a Professional in the Record To Report (RTR) team supporting the Australia/New Zealand business unit of CCEP. The Professional will be responsible for transitioning the financial accounting activities to the shared service center in Bulgaria, as well as supporting the RTR continuous improvement agenda.
You will have individual responsibilities related to the period end close. You will support the Manager in driving end-to-end standard and harmonized RTR processes.
You will assist in developing best practice processes and highlights opportunities for process improvement and cross-country harmonization.
You will strive to create a strong business relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- With the support of the Manager you will help the team achieve its monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting requirements in the fields of:
- Monthly period-end closing activities
- Review and completion of balance sheet reconciliations
- Compliance with company policies and SOX controls
- Communication with internal/external auditors
- Instil a culture of continuous improvement and lead elimination of non-value adding activities
- Leverage technology to simplify and standardise processes
- To be successful in this role, you must have strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills and demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level understanding of financial processes. You will preferably have at least 2 years experience within a multinational company or Big4.
- On top of this, we expect you have gained experience in SAP. You demonstrate teamwork and verbal and written communication skills. Project and process management skills are required to successfully manage audits.
- Fluency in English is required. Good presentation skills to communicate results to your stakeholders. You should have attention to detail, and apply analytical thinking for the evaluation of accounting and business processes.
- Completion of or progression towards professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or CPA) is viewed as a significant advantage.
- Earlier start of the working day will be required on occasion to accommodate Australia/NZ time zone.
Experiencerequired
- Previous work experience in a multinational company/Shared Service Center 5-7 years.
- Proven experience in leading, inspiring, and engaging teams 3-4 years
- Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions with focus on continuous improvement.
Language Capability & expert level
Essential: English + other CCEP language
Education & Qualifications required
- University Degree or equivalent (Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting)
- Fluent written and verbal skills (conversational and business communications) in English
- Qualification in LEAN Six Sigma is considered an advantage.
