Job Purpose

The Tax Intern will be responsible for providing certain Tax activities for different CCEP Tax departments across the wider Tax organization. The role is suitable for students and recent graduates in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business that are keen to develop their personal and professional experience in a multinational environment and gain a broad understanding of the finance function in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Coca-Cola Europacific Partners policies are adhered to (e.g. approvals, financial guidelines, etc.)
  • Support preparation of all tax accounting matters and computations included in the Company’s financial statements and other public documents.
  • Support the maintaining and updating the tax pack used for consolidating the group’s tax numbers. Support preparation of the Cash Tax forecast and PBT forecast.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of the monthly and quarterly tax account reconciliation files, including preparation of the quarterly summaries and explanations of variances required by EY and SOX controls.
  • Assistance with the POs creation and providing support to the Tax budget owner
  • Support Manager International Tax in performing data gathering and compilation tasks for US federal, state and international compliance as assigned;
  • Perform calculation tasks under the guidance and supervision of Manager International Tax as part of the 2021 US federal, state and international compliance as assigned.
  • Attend meetings with outside advisors on compliance review as assigned.
  • Produce intercompany reports and ensure that transfer pricing policies are properly implemented.
  • Provide support with Transfer Pricing calculations and analyses.

Experience required

  • Good level of Excel required

  • ERP experience preferred

  • Ability to address or escalate complex issues within the Tax area

Education & Qualifications required

  • Currently studying or recent graduates in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business

The Program

  • This is a 9-month program, designated to take place during 2025 (expected between Feb-Nov) and would adapt to the company’s ways of working at that point of time;
  • Allows flexibility to the interns as they would be able to choose between full and part-time scheme;
  • Interns will be assigned to one of the Service Lines presented in Bulgaria (see above) and would have the opportunity to deep dive into the respective area based on 2 or 3 rotations between the teams working for the given service line;
  • Provides personal mentoring and support for the whole program duration, as well as multiple networking opportunities.
