Sr Assistant, RTR

Job Purpose
The RTR Sr. Assistant will be responsible for providing certain transactional RTR activities for the CCEP BU including general ledger transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, manual journals entries, Intrastat reports and etc. The position will also be tasked with delivering RTR service excellence to the business with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process improvement to further enhance the RTR service level and effectiveness expected throughout..
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that CCEP policies are adhered to (e.g. accounting policy manuals, approvals, financial guidelines, etc.)
- Ensures the accurate and timely completion of general ledger journals and balance sheet reconciliations in-scope for the role as well as applicable intrastate reporting
- Ensures all Record to Report period end closing procedures in-scope are completed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant accounting and tax requirements and internal controls
Experience preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years Accounting and/or Control experience, preferably in a multi-national organization and/or
Language capability
- English language - essential
- French language - strong advantage
Functional technical skills required
- Studying or with University degree or equivalent in Accounting
- Ability to address or escalate complex issues within the Record to Report area
- Advanced knowledge of general accounting and reporting in compliance with GAAP and requirements of regulatory agencies. Seeking ACCA/CIMA/CPA membership is an advantage.
- Strong ERP experience essential, preferably SAP
