Apprentice Maintenance Engineer 



Have you ever seen a high-speed packaging line? Bottles and cans filled and labelled at up to 1200 containers a minute? It truly is a sight to behold.... Magic when everything is running smoothly. Not so much if they're standing still. Luckily, we've got an awesome team of engineers and electricians for just that sort of situation! We're looking for someone that wants to become our Apprentice Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help things run smoothly - if this sounds like you and you're ready to get your hands dirty, apply now! 

Your Impact


You will be trained by experienced mechanical engineers and working alongside the Production team.  You will be responsible for protecting Coca-Cola’s assets by completing maintenance tasks to a high spact tandard which ensures the plant runs efficiently. You will be encouraged to maintain a working knowledge of machinery, equipment and grow your technical knowledge so that you will pass all regulatory exams, you will be encouraged to focus on continuous improvement of plant processes and assisting in the improvement of product quality. 

*This is a fixed-term role for 4 years* 

About you 

Firstly, you'll need to have NCEA Level 2 & 3. Ideally, you'll have a post-secondary school tertiary qualification or pre-trade training, but this isn't a must! You'll have mechanical aptitude, as well as strong process knowledge - and on top of this, you'll be constantly working to contribute to the success of the wider team. 

  • Own your learning – Take responsibility for your training and development.  

  • Stay motivated – Follow up on what you learn and put it into practice.  

  • Stay on track – Complete and sign off all competencies in a timely manner.
