Finance Intern (Record-To-Report)

The Shared Service Center (SSC) Record to Report (RTR) Accountant Trainee will be responsible for providing certain transactional RTR activities for the FR CCEP Business Unit including recording general ledger transactions, reconciliations, completing journals, month end close and reporting activities.
The role is suitable for students and recent graduates in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business that are keen to develop their personal and professional experience in a multinational environment and gain a broad understanding of the finance function in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Services Delivery
- Ensure that Coca-Cola Europacific Partners policies are adhered to (e.g. approvals, financial guidelines, etc.)
- Support the accurate and timely completion of general ledger journals and balance sheet reconciliations in-scope for the role.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant accounting and tax requirements and internal controls (SOX)
Continuous Improvement
- Supports the RTR team in driving end-to-end standard and harmonized RTR processes
- Assists in developing best practice processes and highlights opportunities for process improvements
- Supports global BPT projects (Central Finance)
Internship program
- Successfully complete the internship program and gain knowledge of the finance function in the FMCG sector, while working in the different streams of the RTR department
Expectations
- Studying towards a Accounting Degree or other equivalent
- Ability to address or escalate complex issues within the Record to Report area
- Good level of Excel required
- ERP experience preferred
