The Role
Due to internal promotions and growth, we are looking for a team player and proactive Logistics Coordinator who is looking for a career with potential growth and autonomy!
The Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of warehouse and distribution operations. This position supports daily logistics activities, providing an essential link between frontline teams, management, and operational processes. By managing work allocation, problem-solving, and maintaining compliance with safety and efficiency standards, Logistics Coordinators help optimize productivity in a fast-moving FMCG supply chain.
Working within a dynamic environment, Logistics Coordinators oversee workflow continuity, troubleshoot operational challenges, and drive shift-to-shift alignment to enhance service efficiency.
This role requires collaboration with transport carriers, warehouse teams, and inventory management systems to ensure effective execution - We are looking for a natural leader who is both confident and can really take the initiative in ensuring a smooth shift for all and can jump in with ideas and solutions - Maybe you are currently a forklift operative who is passionate about what you do and looking for a role where you can now step up and make an impact in the team!
You will be responsible for the daily management of receiving, picking, and delivery functions while maintaining compliance with operational standards and service excellence, whilst being accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational tasks, including but not limited to:
- Safety & Compliance – Active participation in QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health) initiatives to uphold workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Operational Efficiency – Warehouse cost control, continuous improvement activities, and optimization of logistics workflows.
- Customer Service & Order Fulfillment – Managing DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time), minimizing pick errors and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Inventory Management & Stock Accuracy – Reducing stock losses and monitoring inventory integrity (damages, leaks, and discrepancies).
- Team Engagement & Leadership – Supporting team performance, fostering collaboration, and promoting a high-performance culture.
- Warehouse Coordination – Overseeing inventory movement, workflow prioritization, and ensuring seamless operational execution.
You will play a key part in enhancing efficiency, maintaining service standards, and driving operational excellence within the logistics function and the role would suit someone who is results orientated, solutions driven and with a high attention to detail. You will also be required to demonstrate safe work behaviours, lead by example and encourage others to do the same.
A typical day would look like, but not be limited to:
- Daily manage warehouse activities to achieve operational targets and performance.
- Active involvement in all safety requirements – observations, hazard reporting.
- Active participation in investigations into warehouse incidents to verify and resolve
- Ensure key performance indicators which measure the effectiveness of the warehouse operations are achieved – pick rates, pallet control, customer service results.
- Coordinate and communicate warehouse operational policies and procedures.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects
- Customer Service (Internal & External) – DIFOT, returns, delivery errors, NCRs
- Minimise damages through packing improvements and behaviour management
- Proactive participation in stock control from receipt through internal movements to customer delivery
- Manage CCEP, TCCC (The Coca-Cola Company) and governmental governance and regulatory compliance procedures for the site related to operations.
- Actively participate in cross training for site continuity

The Logistics Coordinator role serves as a stepping stone to more senior leadership roles, including Team Leader and beyond. You will gain exposure to people leadership, operational planning, stakeholder management, and process improvement, with full support from your Team Manager and Senior Leadership team.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have/be or possess:
- Demonstrated experience in Logistics/Warehouse environment
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and influencing others to perform tasks
- Ability to write or produce Work instructions when required.
- Forklift License desirable but not required
