Category Strategy Analyst

About the job: 

You will play a key role in the development of a category centric mindset, reframing how we sell to customers and what makes us a partner of choice, partnering with commercial teams to grow sales and market share.

What you’ll do: 

  • devise long-term development strategies for CCEP's soft drinks categories, linked to long range and annual business plan;
  • Identify priorities that maximize the Soft Drinks category opportunities by channel
  • partner with franchisors and Commercial Development Channel teams to ensure brand and shopper campaigns are rooted in category insights;
  • liaise with Communites of Practice to implement an aligned category vision, adapted by channel and applied consistently across all markets;
  • work closely with KAMs, Area Sales Managers and Field Sales, supporting them to apply category insights to grow sales and market share;
  • be in-house market data specialist, crafting and selling our category story internally and externally (customers and partners); 

What the role requires: 

  • Proven experience in category management and/or market analysis, within FMCG companies would be a plus; 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field; 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office suite (Excel);  
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English + Intermediate level of Spanish; 
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives; 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels;  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities;
