Job Purpose

This role is part of the Corporate Treasury function and is responsible for managing all Treasury Back Office processes of CCEP Europe.

Key Responsibilities :

DAILY TASKS

  • Check daily that all bank statements for the previous day are received in the treasury management system (TMS) and follow up with banks and different teams if missing.
  • Perform daily reconciliation for previous day treasury transactions ensuring all relevant parties are kept informed. Perform reconciliation for same day treasury transactions on time.
  • Ensure no backlog of open unreconciled items.
  • Confirm and match deals entered in TMS by Treasury Front Office team (commodity, FX, options, swaptions,  bonds, interest rate swaps, etc.) on time for settlement and depending on the cut off times. Ensure no trades are unmatched at end of the day and no confirmation controls violated. Any pending should be brought to manager’s attention with explanations.
  • Price fix commodities and other deals (eg floating rate notes) on time ensuring prices/rates agree with banks.
  • Check settlements and ensure they are on time and prior to any cut off time as well as according to local regulations accordingly.
  • Enter ad-hoc payments using the online banking of different banks upon request by members of the treasury team.
  • Initiate all netting payments and FX/Commodity payments.
  • Act as back up of Europe Cash Management and be able to set positions in all currencies.

CONTROLS

  • Responsible for Back Office SOX controls and their certification.
  • Ensure all management controls for Back Office are met on a weekly basis (Control for Unconfirmed deals, Controls for missing Counterparty info etc).
  • Ensure key payments (External dividends, Debt & Debt Interest) are followed up on time.
  • Manage all payment approvals and keep record of approvers on weekly basis including holidays.
  • Act as main point of contact between Treasury Operations team and Accounting (RTR/STP) for the instruments to be used for all new/ad hoc transactions
  • Responsible for updating counterparties and their SSIs and rules in TMS. Responsible to review the counterparties SSIs on annual basis.
  • Improve current Back Office processes on commodities and ensure closer alignment with banks on Derivatives close outs.
  • Support system rollouts and upgrades as applicable

REPORTING

  • Commodity and FX Settlement Report on monthly basis
  • Review of bank fees through TMS and cross checking with banks..
  • Act as back up of Europe Cash Flow Forecast and other PPM reporting.
  • Main point of contact for Treasury invoices  in Ariba and Process director.
  • EMIR reporting on monthly and quarterly basis.
