The Black Experience

We’re proud to support The Black Experience (TBE)—an informal network and safe space for our Black colleagues to connect, celebrate career achievements, and share their perspectives. TBE provides a platform to raise concerns, give feedback, and help shape initiatives that foster belonging and ensure meaningful support for Black employees across our business

Black History Month

We also take the time every October to celebrate Black History Month, focusing on the education and celebration of Black culture, allyship, and contribution back into Black communities, as well as supporting our Black talent to develop and grow at CCEP.

Throughout the month, we amplify the voices of our Black colleagues and hear what culture means for them, we celebrate across our sites and offices with a number of exciting activities such as themed-based creative painting, culturally representative menus and finally finishing off the month with some group volunteering – an opportunity to give back to local Black communities using one of our 2 company-provided volunteering days.

Black History Month presents a good opportunity to reflect on our commitments our progress and encourage everyone to put positive actions front of mind not only throughout October but all year around.

Multicultural Careers Pathways & Conversations

This year we recently ran a dedicated Multicultural Career Pathways & Conversations Workshop, opening the in-person event up to all multicultural colleagues across Supply Chain, Commercial and Corporate Functions, with the aim of:

  • Being inspired by hearing examples of career paths that multi-cultural colleagues have taken
  • Knowing how to start thinking about and planning your own career paths, with the support of our internal learning platform
  • Understanding why Development Plans are important and how to write one
  • Connecting with other multicultural colleagues across different functions.

Following the success of the workshop, we will continue to hold further workshops as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and growing multicultural talent at CCEP.
