Recently we have welcomed our new apprentices and graduates to the business to start their inductions. Both groups spent two days in our UK Head Office at Pemberton House in Uxbridge finding out about CCEP and our programmes. As well as getting to know each other, they spent time learning about our Commercial Field Sales function, and seeing how our products are made at one of our manufacturing sites.
Apprentices:
Our apprentices spent a day at our Edmonton Plant learning about our manufacturing and supply chain operation which produces 50 million cases of drinks per year across their 7 manufacturing lines, and meeting the 200 strong team that make that happen!
Then they ventured to Bentley Priory Nature Reserve for a day of volunteering and to work together as a team.
Their week closed with fond farewells across the board, as our Engineering Apprentices head off to Liverpool for their first year residential, and our Apprentices on the Chartered Management Degree, Project Management, Customer Specialists and Logistic Degree programmes all join their respective new teams.
Graduates:
Our graduates visited our manufacturing site at Sidcup in Kent to spend a day with the team and find out more about our Manufacturing and Distribution operations. With 10 manufacturing lines the site can produce 360,000 cans and 180,000 bottles of our wide range of products per hour! This was followed by a day out with some of our London based Field Sales representatives, seeing how they partner with businesses and develop trade.
They attended an event at the Food and Drink Federation Awards in London and had the opportunity to meet members of the Equity Programme and some of the CCEP Leadership Team in the UK, including Stephen Moorhouse who heads up the whole of our operation in the UK.
The week closed back at our London Head Office to plan for the coming month with lots of opportunity to network and gain exposure to different teams across the business.
