Our People

Meet Vanessa Smith, Director, Equipment Services. She works to create a diverse workplace – and keeps our Supply Chain in tip-top condition. Vanessa believes the industry is shifting towards a more inclusive place, and now is the time for people who may not have considered a career in the industry before to get involved. “I’ve worked in various supply chain roles in the FMCG industry over the years and have found manufacturing to be fairly male-dominated, particularly at more senior levels. However, during my time with CCEP so far, I’ve worked with some truly inspiring young women, who have grown and developed into young leaders of the future".

Sustainability

We’re making real progress on our journey to become more sustainable—and technology is playing a big part in that.

At our Mannheim site, we’re using smart automation to help sort refillable glass bottles more efficiently. Over in München, we’ve added a new machine that lets us pack those bottles into convenient 6-packs—another step forward in making our packaging more sustainable.

We’ve also invested over €40 million across our European markets to roll out equipment that produces bottles with attached caps. It might sound like a small change, but it makes a big difference—helping reduce litter and making it easier for people to recycle the whole bottle, cap and all.

And it’s not just about packaging. We’re also investing in greener infrastructure, like solar panels at our sites in Australia, Indonesia, Portugal, and Great Britain—helping us move closer to our goal of becoming carbon neutral.
