CCEP Packaging Services Division (PSD) is the internal supplier of plastic primary packaging to the CCEP Australia and Pacific Island businesses. We manufacture and supply over 2 billion preforms and closures to CCEP bottling sites located across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. The PSD team are integral to CCEP’s sustainability commitments, including its commitment of 7 out of 10 bottles made from recycled plastic.

The Role

Reporting to the Production Team Manager, you will be a key player in the manufacture and supply of preforms and closures. The role of the Process Technician is to ensure the seamless operation of injection moulding and ancillary equipment. 

As a Process Technician, you will contribute to PSD’s success by delivering results across cost, efficiency and productivity measures.

In this role, you will work closely with the production team, the warehouse team, the maintenance team and the quality team to deliver results. 

Key Deliverables:

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Working safely with equipment
  • Comply with safety, quality and organisation standards
  • Set-up, process and troubleshooting of injection moulding machines, inspections system and other ancillary equipment
  • Continuously monitor production quality and implement corrective actions to resolve issues to minimise waste and defects
  • Undertake set ups and changeovers
  • Conduct quality control tasks
  • Ensure equipment is operating as intended and escalated issues as required
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Practices and housekeeping around equipment
  • General upkeep of work areas
  • Autonomously utilise systems to investigate and trouble shoot issues

Skills & Experience

  1. Possess a strong safety focus
  2. Computer literate
  3. 2+ year experience in FMCG, packaging or pharmaceutical environments
  4. Previous experience in an injection moulding environment (desirable)
  5. Skills in trouble shooting of complex mechanical and electronic equipment
  6. Hold a valid forklift license
