The role:

The Depalletiser Operator is responsible for running the processes and production machines on the line that are his/her responsibility according to the rotation schedule: Filler, Mixer, Blowing, Labeller, Carton Erector, Case packer, Palletiser from starting the startup process, change size, change flavour, production, shut down, ensuring the quality of processes and products, and engine maintenance / cycle maintenance in accordance with procedures to always operate efficiently and effectively so as to produce products that continuously meet the quality standards and quantity targets that have been set.

Our desired candidate:

A well-presented, highly personable and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements: 

  • Minimum Grade 12.
  • Technical Certificate.
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in production, FMCG organization, especially in a Manufacturing or Engineering Environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards, rules and regulations.
  • Not colour blind.
  • Self driver and be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to work at odd hours when required.
  • Understanding the process flow in the work area
  • Understanding the working principle of the machine in its area and being able to operate the machine according to the procedure.
  • Understanding and being able to do maintenance (PM, Breakdown, CM)
  • Understanding and being able to carry out quality checks and take corrective actions if there are irregularities.
  • Understanding and being able to identify opportunities and make improvements in the work area.
  • Understanding the functions of supporting areas (Utilities, Rawmat, Warehouse, QA, ME) and coordinating well
  • Understanding 14001 (EMS, B3 Handling and MSDS) , OHS: OHSAS 18001
  • Understanding of GMP, FSSC / ISO 22000 / ISO TS 22002.1 & ISO TS 20002.4
  • Understanding ISO 9001
  • Understand all company policies and policies that have been made (Safety policy, Food safety policy, CoC, Anti Bribery, Anti Fraud etc.).
