Senior Analyst Operations - Eastern Creek

About the role…

The role will partner with the Operations Manager and the Site Leadership Team to drive value for our customers and shareholders by delivering strategic commercial insights to enable business growth. The role will be responsible for P&L management, balance sheet preparation, Budget processes, financial support on productivity initiatives and other ad hoc analysis. 

This role will be based at our site in Eastern Creek.

What you will be doing….

  • Preparation and support of Monthly Results, Budgeting, Rolling Forecasts, Risk and Opportunity reviews including collaborating with Planning for the P+L & Trade Working Capital
  • Conduct extensive financial analysis on key metrics and generate options to leverage performance
  • Supporting the continuous improvement journey via national projects 
  • Lead the PSD COGS budget process in collaboration with Procurement and Planning including product costing & external pricing recommendations
  • Driving compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements through regular balance sheet reconciliation and other internal compliance controls

Skills and experience….

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Finance /Commercial role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets to produce actional insights with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-finance professionals to build commercial awareness and understanding
  • Ability to understand and manage competing priorities
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and an ability to use data and help find solutions to operational and strategic initiatives
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced Skill with Microsoft Office products particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with SAP preferred
