About your new role…

We have a fabulous opportunity to join our OE team in this role of Senior Manager Supply Chain Data Insights & Analytics. Based at our stunning North Sydney Office, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our data strategy within the Australian supply chain landscape. As the Leader of the Team you will be savvy and attuned to the operational dynamics of each supply function. You will possess operational empathy, understanding how operations work across various functions, and be able to translate this understanding into business opportunities and needs and capable of;

  • Strategic vision - developing and executing a strategic vision for the team that aligns with the broader business goals.
  • Operational insight - demonstrating a deep understanding of operational processes and how they impact business performance.
  • Business translation - effectively translating operational insights into actionable business strategies and opportunities at an operational and executive level
  • Matrix organisation - skilled in working within a matrix organisation, managing various stakeholders to serve their needs, and achieving consensus and alignment, across EU and AP.
  • Problem solving- use data to solve problems and steer the right attention and focus towards critical business areas.

This team is dedicated to driving data-driven decision-making and strategic insights across the organisation. The ambition of the team; is to empower the business with actionable intelligence that enhances performance, optimises operations, and fosters innovation.

  • Data-driven decision making - provide comprehensive and accurate data analysis to support informed decision-making at all levels of supply chain.
  • Operational efficiency - deliver insights that streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Strategic growth - identify opportunities for growth and innovation through detailed market analysis and trend forecasting.
    • Create pathway for aligned operating mode with EU based blueprint; OSCR, Profectus etc
  • Cohort attraction - this team attracts individuals who are digital-savvy and possess strong analytical skills. They are adept at leveraging technology to extract meaningful insights and are passionate about using data to drive business success.

Let’s talk about you!

  • Well-honed experience in data analysis.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role, nurturing and developing a team.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
