As our Data Analytics & Insights Manager - Manufacturing you will play a critical role in driving data‑enabled and best‑in‑class manufacturing performance and will help transform how we make decisions by shifting the function from traditional reporting to predictive and prescriptive analytics, enabling proactive, insight‑driven operations.
This position will lead the development of advanced analytics solutions to unlock productivity, reduce waste, and elevate operational excellence across all manufacturing sites, and you will also be instrumental in integrating manufacturing, quality, environment, and maintenance datasets to build a unified manufacturing analytics ecosystem, supporting the broader One Supply Chain reporting strategy.
A typical day would look like, but not be limited to:
• Develop and maintain analytics solutions for line performance, efficiency, OEE, waste, and throughput.
• Conduct deep-dive loss analysis integrating data from Lineview, SAP, SEEQ, and other systems.
• Provide insights that support productivity, downtime reduction, and cost optimisation.
• Bring together manufacturing, quality, environmental, and maintenance data into a cohesive analytical environment.
• Drive data governance and ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of key datasets.
• Partner with BPT/IT to maintain data pipelines, standards, and system integrity.
• Act as the primary analytics partner for Manufacturing and Quality.
• Run key forums, including performance reviews, insights meetings, and project prioritisation discussions.
• Translate business pain points into analytics problems and deliver solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
• Lead the shift from manual reporting to automated, insight‑rich dashboards.
• Support the execution of the One Supply Chain Insights & Reporting vision.
• Standardise KPI definitions, metrics, and reporting logic across sites.
• Lead and develop a team of 1–2 analysts.
• Drive analytics capability upskilling within Manufacturing.
• Mentor analysts on modelling, data storytelling, and problem solving.
About you:
Required
- 8–10 years’ experience in data analytics, with significant exposure to FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record delivering manufacturing insights that improved productivity or reduced losses.
- Experience integrating or analysing data from manufacturing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority
Preferred
- Strong SQL proficiency
- Power BI
- SAP knowledge advantageous
