About your new opportunity
We have an amazing opportunity to join our team in Richlands QLD as our new Maintenance Reliability Engineer. You will be part of our supportive Maintenance Team (who love to have a bit of fun whilst they work) and who are responsible for provision of best practice support and customer service across the Production and Maintenance departments.
This role is a key driver for identifying and delivering change initiatives and solutions and are responsible for supporting the delivery of sustainable improvements that ensure Supply Chain objectives are achieved. In particular, optimising the return on capital investment by ensuring that the immediate and future needs and objectives of the CCEP Supply Chain are met/exceeded in regard to safety, cost, quality, environment and service levels through excellence in project delivery.
Finally, it is expected that the positions will hold an area of technical expertise and contribute to the organisational development and retention of knowledge, processes and standards related to that expertise.
What will you be doing?
- Improve product/systems safety, reliability, and maintainability using principles/ techniques of performance evaluation and prediction.
- Develop a maintenance plan incorporating various strategies (e.g., predictive maintenance, repair or replace decision making, spare parts analysis/forecasting, and equipment warranties).
- Identify corrective and preventive actions to take in specific situations and evaluate their measures of effectiveness.
- Describe root cause analysis, and use a root cause and failure analysis tool to determine the causes of degradation or failure.
- Define and use PM tasks, optimum PM intervals, and other elements of this analysis. Identify situations when PM is not effective.

- Tertiary qualification in a Technical or Engineering discipline or Trade Qualifications with the relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Tertiary Qualifications
- Beverage or FMCG process knowledge and experience.
- Experience in the application of Lean processes and strategy in an operational context
- A solid understanding of processing and packaging in FMCG including local and industry trends.
- High level process improvement skills with analytical ability and strategic problem-solving skills (root cause analysis, FMECA, process improvements & corrective actions)
