Wakefield Operations is the largest plant in CCEP and the biggest soft drink plant in Europe. It has the capacity to produce 1 billion litres of finished product per year. There are over 450 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering.
We have some great job opportunities for those interested in joining one of the leading FMCG organisations globally and we’re looking to strengthen our team by offering full training to support this, whether you’ve worked in manufacturing previously or want to get started in your exciting career.
If you have the will, we can teach you the skill!
Experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Wakefield and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations. We continue to be committed to sustainability and have reduced our water consumption ratio by 50% since 2006. We’re a family-friendly and inclusive company that puts employee wellbeing at the very heart of everything we do.
What to expect:
In the role of Operator Technician, you will play a key role in our day-to- day operations receiving full training to become part of our team.
We’re a 24-hour operation so you can expect to work shifts based on a days and night’s pattern. We are open to discussing job share opportunities that work for the operation and you.
You will get to work with our experienced teams to ensure the soft drinks operation runs smoothly, including ordering and application of raw materials into our filling, packing and palletising machines. We’re a highly automated and clean site but you’ll be fully trained in basic machine fault finding and fixes.
You’ll get the training and autonomy to manage your work and environment to ensure hygiene is maintained to a high standard and ensure the quality of our products, through hands-on inspection and on-line measurement of our product and packaging, working alongside our Quality, Health, Environment and Sustainability teams.
You will also be trained to monitor and report on performance and optimise our set up to ensure we maximise quality and output and reduce waste.
What we need from you:
We’re looking for hands-on practical people who can multi-task, are open to learning, can work collaboratively and communicate well. You’ll have confidence in your ability to get things done quickly and efficiently and have a strong drive for results. You’ll be able to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to follow clear guidelines for operational excellence.
Full training will be provided for technical upskilling.
At CCEP, we want to provide an inclusive workplace where people are inspired to be the best they can be. We know that engaged, motivated employees, working to their full capacity and able to reach their personal career goals, are a critical part of our Company’s long-term success.

If that’s true for you – please raise this with your talent acquisition contact who will advise you on whether this role includes activities related to our alcohol portfolio.
We aim to make our recruitment process as comfortable and accessible as possible and would appreciate it if you would advise us of any particular requirements, adjustments or requests you may have to help us ensure that your experience is enjoyable.
