The overview

You’ll have an important and highly varied role to play at your CCEP site. When a production line or machinery breaks down, you’ll react fast and use your technical knowledge to solve the problem. When everything’s working well, you’ll carry out checks, risk assessments and inspections to pre-empt any issues.

Success profile

Working as part of our Production Team, you will report to the Production Manager on site and will be required to safely operate and maintain machinery and production lines. This will include all aspects of canning, glass and bottle lines to ensure the highest quality of production of all Coca-Cola beverages. A willingness to work 12-hour shifts covering days and nights is also expected.

Warehouse Technician Operative - Wakefield

Are you looking for a new opportunity that will offer you new skills and a clear path into a rewarding career? Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is currently seeking a Warehouse Technician Operative in Wakefield, and the role comes with an attractive salary of £35k p/a and many excellent benefits. 

Until December 2025, in this role you will be required to work a rotating days based shift pattern of; Week 1 06:00 - 15:00, Week 2: 15:00-00:00. Thereafter you will enter into a 3on 3off continental shift pattern. 

In this Warehouse Technician role, you will receive the full training required to operate a forklift truck.

Once you are established and fully trained in this role, the following will be expected of you: 

  • Pick and efficiently stack goods safely into block stacks, gravity racking and drive-in storage 
  • Use our SAP and Extended Warehouse Management systems to record and locate stock, release orders to assembly locations and check vehicles into and out of site 
  • Assemble orders ready for dispatch to customers 
  • Carry out case-picking when necessary. 

Wakefield Distribution Centre is a 24/7 operation, our Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse holds 28,000 pallets, alongside a racked and block-stacked conventional warehouse of 12,000 pallets.  The combined typical annual throughput is over three million pallets.  Every 24 hours we expect to receive around 5,000 pallets from the on-site manufacturing operation, as well as handling around 360 vehicle movements at peak.

  • Good IT skills 
  • The ability to achieve productivity targets whilst paying attention to detail and maintaining high standards of health and safety 
  • High motivation and the ability to commit to flexible shift patterns
