Join our high-performing At Home team as a permanent, full-time Merchandiser Manager. Based in Hamilton and servicing the Central North Island, you'll lead a team of approximately 30 Merchandisers, developing team capability and delivering outstanding execution across the region.
Your Impact
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll lead from the front, spending time in trade coaching your team, building capability, and driving outstanding execution across the region. This role requires regular travel throughout the Central North Island, including occasional overnight travel and trips as far as Gisborne.
• Sunday to Thursday role
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Merchandisers, driving performance and safe work practices
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Manage workforce planning, rosters and resources to meet service and budget requirements
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, reporting and compliance activities

You'll be proactive, solutions-focused and confident building relationships across all levels of the business.
You’ll have :
• Proven leadership, coaching and team development skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Confidence providing feedback and managing performance conversations
• Strong planning, administration and Microsoft Excel skills
• FMCG, retail, merchandising or field sales experience would be highly regarded
