The Opportunity

We're looking for a Process Improvement Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in on Richlands, QLD a permanent full-time basis.
This is a pivotal role, where you'll drive Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance. Partnering with Production, Maintenance, Quality and site leadership teams, you'll lead improvement projects, build problem-solving capability, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
Whether you're an Engineer or an experienced Continuous Improvement professional with a strong Lean Manufacturing background, this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact while developing your leadership, coaching and change management capability.
About the Role
- Lead Continuous Improvement projects that deliver measurable operational outcomes.
- Analyse performance data and operational losses to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, capability, and performance.
- Coach employees in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Drive change initiatives and support the delivery of Operational Excellence programs.
- Use data and insights to support decision-making and sustained performance improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence.
About You
We're looking for a proactive, solutions-focused professional who can influence others, solve complex problems and drive meaningful change.
You'll Bring:
- Engineering qualification highly desirable; however, candidates with significant Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience delivering process improvement initiatives and business outcomes.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capability, including root cause analysis and data-driven decision making.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation capability.
- Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring and developing others in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience partnering across Production, Maintenance, Quality and Leadership teams.
- High levels of initiative and accountability.
Highly Regarded:
- Manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environment experience.
- Lean, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence certifications.
- Change management or business transformation experience.
- Project management experience.
