Labour Planner – Sidcup

Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans. Across their 7 manufacturing lines the site can produce 360,000 cans per hour, 132,000 PET bottles per hour and 48,000 Glass bottles. There are currently around 280 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.
What to expect:
You will report to the Production Managers and be responsible for leading resource scheduling across production and upstream teams with site responsible for delivery of the site production plan through optimisation of the available labour force to ensure full coverage of all areas whilst adhering to KORE manning headcounts and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Review the daily resource schedule, ensuring that the required manning levels are achieved to fulfil the daily production plan requirements.
- Identify and fulfil resource requirements ahead of schedule by reviewing the upcoming production plans, holiday absence and sickness.
- Confirm Overtime opportunities with CCEP colleagues and request agency colleagues as required to support the operational teams.
- Conduct regular scheduled resource meetings with respective BU team leads.
- Work alongside BU Team Leads ensuring that resource schedule is accurate.
- Maintain the accuracy of the DLM People Plan system to included staff details, skills verifications, holidays and TOIL.
- Liaise with the site Technical Operational trainers to ensure that the skills verification within DLM is aligned with the site training matrix.
- Run and communicate monthly reports details TOIL hours owed / banked and remaining holiday entitlements.
- Run and communicate monthly financial reporting of cost to budget.
Skills & Essentials:
- Strong communication skills, approachability with a persuasive manner.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to interrogate data and cost.
- Ability to work under pressure and problem solve.
- Able to work alone, with little supervision and also as part of the wider team across all levels at site.
- Adaptable and flexible to change
