The Opportunity
Our Portfolio team is passionate about delivering innovation that makes us the beverage supplier of choice for our customers and consumers. From launching new products and categories such as Energy, Sports and Juice, through to managing our core portfolio lifecycle, we play a critical role in driving growth across the business.
We're looking for a highly capable Portfolio Manager to lead the end-to-end commercialisation of new products, manage portfolio lifecycle activities and drive cross-functional projects from concept through to launch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and enjoys partnering with a broad range of stakeholders to bring innovative ideas to market.
As a Portfolio Manager, you will own a portfolio of innovation, renovation and lifecycle projects, ensuring products are successfully scoped, tested, commercialised and launched on time and within budget. You'll also lead SKU lifecycle management, including the effective integration of new products and exiting SKUs through established governance and gate processes.
Working closely with Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations and external partners, you'll be responsible for navigating competing priorities, influencing key stakeholders and driving outcomes that support CCEP's growth agenda.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial acumen, project management capability and the ability to manage complexity across multiple concurrent initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead end-to-end project management of new product development (NPD) and portfolio lifecycle initiatives
- Scope, plan and deliver innovation projects from idea through to commercial launch
- Manage core portfolio activities, including SKU lifecycle management and portfolio optimisation
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations and Strategy teams to deliver business outcomes
- Coordinate manufacturing solutions, packaging requirements, co-packing opportunities, consumer testing, trials and importation activities
- Develop business cases, recommendations and project plans, identifying risks, opportunities and mitigation strategies
- Manage project budgets, including line trials, consumer testing, CAPEX and associated NPD costs.
- Drive effective stage-gate governance and project documentation
- Analyse portfolio performance and recommend opportunities to stop, amplify, optimise or pivot initiatives
- Ensure projects progress efficiently by proactively addressing barriers and influencing stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes
- Support innovation initiatives ranging from core NPD through to transformational and emerging revenue stream opportunities
About you
You are a naturally curious and proactive problem solver who enjoys working in ambiguity and driving projects forward. You're quick to learn, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment. You bring strong attention to detail, challenge constructively when required and build credibility through collaboration and delivery.
You will also bring the following:
- Technical qualifications or experience in Engineering, Quality, Safety & Environment (QSE), Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Operations
- FMCG experience within Innovation, Commercialisation, NPD, Portfolio Management or Supply Chain
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, test marketing and stage-gate product development processes
- Experience working within cross-functional commercial environments
- Experience developing business cases and managing project governance processes
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data and business insights
- Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems
- Experience working with and influencing a broad range of stakeholders across functions and levels
- Strong commercial and business acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
