About the Role…
We have a fabulous opportunity to join a collaborative, friendly and successful team in this 12 month contract/secondment as Finance Business Partner (Coffee Sales).
Reporting directly to the Associate Director – Coffee Finance, the Finance Business Partner – Coffee Sales will be responsible for providing commercial sales support to the Head of Sales and National Field Sales Manager for our At Home/National and Operational channels along with their wider teams covering National Business Managers and State Managers. The role drives optimised EBIT outcomes and risk mitigation across both channels including our large contracted “Away From Home” customer base, along with contributing to Grinders Coffee long range plan.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Partnering with Sales team to deliver Grinders business performance targets through value-add analysis & insights on revenue to EBIT drivers including equipment and capital.
- Responsible for preparing and managing the performance reporting processes across Grinders Sales - including month-end commentary, trading updates, reporting & insights.
- Responsible for Sales and Operational Planning process in At Home and Away from Home in combination with Sales and Demand Planning teams and with assistance from Senior Analyst, providing risk-adjusted financial analysis and insights.
- Responsible for working together with Shared Services Centre to deliver balance sheet management under Claims vs Accruals process providing risk and opportunity analysis across At Home customer accounts, including ensuring correct promo/terms accrual, rebate & pricing set ups.
- Deliver commercial review and insights across Grinders customer agreement submissions in conjunction with Sales to maximise financial outcomes whilst identifying risks, recognising and solving contractual hurdles through analysis and modelling.
- Influence key operational and strategic decisions through ad hoc analysis and projects.
- Work effectively with business leaders to uplift commercial acumen.
- Contribute to a high performing, collaborative and empowered team culture.
- Collaborate across the Grinders team to help deliver division wide initiatives and projects and provide team coverage and support when required.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of commercial management with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience ideally in an FMCG environment.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders understanding the objectives of all parties and identifying the associated risk and opportunities.
- Strong influencing capability, ability to challenge in constructive manner leveraging data insights and drives mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to drive business outcomes and change by partnering with a diverse range of business stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical thinking capability with proficient excel skills.
- Cross functional experience supporting Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial and commercial drivers as well as understanding of CCEP’s competitive environment.
- University degree in Finance, Economics or Commerce related fields required.
- SAP / Anaplan experience (prior system experience desired but not essential).
