About the role:
We’re looking for an inspiring Head of People & Culture to join our team in Lae, Papua New Guinea. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture – Pacific, this pivotal role will partner with our PNG Leadership team and lead the PNG People & Culture team.
You’ll be hands-on, delivering exceptional People Experience services while driving key priorities for our PNG business. From leading change to supporting our team’s growth, you’ll immerse yourself in the business and be a catalyst for success in this dynamic market.
What you’ll bring to the role:
We’re looking for someone who can influence, connect, and create impact. To succeed, you’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience (5+ years) in Senior Business Partnering or HR Manager roles, aligning HR strategies with business goals.
- Expertise in PNG labour laws and regulations, with a strong grasp of compliance in-country.
- A track record of driving change, building effective teams, and fostering organizational transformation.
- Data-driven decision-making skills and a strategic mindset to influence at all levels.
- Commitment to creating a culture of inclusion, gender equity, and belonging.
- Experience working in global, matrixed environments and navigating complex business landscapes.
