Your new opportunity…
We have a fabulous opportunity to join CCEP on an 24 month contract as our Health & Safety Capital Program Partner. This role partners with the Capital Projects and Operations Teams offering leadership, expert recommendations, and solutions for the business on capital projects to ensure design, commissioning and operation ensures compliance to Australian Standards, brand partner requirements and internal CCEP standards. This allows us to deliver a best-in-class safe working environment that delivers on the promise of zero harm. This is gained through comprehensive analysis, best practice research and external benchmarking in partnership with the Health & Safety Centre of Excellence, leveraging HAZOP techniques. This role partners with their relevant Australian Supply Chain Leadership Team member and leads and supports significant programs of work within the Australian Pacific Capital Program in support of our goal of zero life changing injuries.
Your Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the implementation of the Health & Safety frameworks, tools, processes and reporting, ensuring effective implementation, change management and proper governance into the business areas you support.
- Understanding capital program for Aus/Pacific and identifying areas to improve the process to deliver on safety goals.
- Reviewing and revising HAZOP process considering internal and external best-in-class guidance.
- Leading and coordinating the HAZOP review for new capital projects with key stakeholders.
- Leading and coordinating the risk assessments for new capital projects with key stakeholders.
- High-lighting and leading process to mitigate hazards identified in the capital projects design phase.
- Building capability on Health & Safety aspects in the Capital Program teams.
- Be an experienced HAZOP facilitator who is an expert in the application of the technique.
- Be curious to learn and understand potential hazards and operability problems and lead teams to achieve this.
- Assist to develop and embed revised policies, procedures and frameworks around HAZOP.
- Lead, mentor and coach others to create an environment where our people can thrive, build the expertise of the team and contribute to team engagement.
- Lead problem solving through the identification of root causes to issues and challenges that lead to sub-optimal outcomes, coordinate and bring the relevant stakeholders together to solve and improve.
- Anticipate and respond to key market / environmental / regulatory developments, trends, opportunities or threats, and develop collaborative action plans to proactively improve the safety & wellbeing of our people.
- Seek out industry best practice within areas of expertise to help raise capability within the team and leverage new thinking into the Health & Safety programs of work in partnership with the Head of Health & Safety.
- Lead problem solving through the identification of root causes to issues and challenges that lead to sub-optimal outcomes, coordinate and bring the relevant stakeholders together to solve and improve.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to Safety / FMCG / Supply Chain / Business or Commerce.
- Prior experience in a Health & Safety Leadership role, with a focus on capital projects.
- Experience of diagnosing, analysing and formulating Health & Safety solutions.
- Proven ability to influence and be an effective communicator and facilitator with the ability to identify hazards with qualitative information from complex inter-related systems and processes.
- Agile in ways of working and being able to prioritise multiple initiatives / resources.
- Proven ability to safely drive commercial business outcomes and manage complex people / process change.
- Good knowledge of area of expertise within health and safety (HAZOP), a specific certificate/qualification in specialist area will be helpful.
- Experience of diagnosing, analysing and formulating HS&W solution needs.
- Experience leading a team.
