Sr Legal Counsel IT & Digital

What do you become a part of:

As a member of the Legal Operations & Technology team, the Senior Legal Counsel IT & Digital will work closely with global Business Process Technology (BPT) key stakeholders and BPT Procurement as well as with the broader Legal organization as appropriate: This role entails to act as Legal contact for CCEP´s IT contract negotiations and license compliance management and contribute to related matters for CCEP´s digital transformation towards a digital enabled and data driven company, especially the responsible use of Data & AI.  

What you will do:

  • Drafting, review and negotiations of technology contracts (MSA, SOW, order form) with regard to all kind of IT related products and services - as licensing, SaaS, IT implementation partner services, changes of IT architecture and software usage, open source - in close cooperation with BPT Procurement and BPT Vendor Management.
  • Reviewing, adapting and maintaining contract templates and other business documents, as well as guidelines to the teams on contract obligations and risks during execution.
  • Support to Legal/BPT projects including IT contract lifecycle management.
  • Support BPT Vendor Management with regard to their software asset management, license and compliance positions and software vendor audits.
  • Additional support in future key areas and projects, especially AI governance and  opportunities for Legal Service Delivery.
  • Developing training content and providing trainings to the teams.

What we expect from you: 

  • Master degree in Law (qualification in UK Law and in IT & IP law as a plus)
  • 4-7 years relevant experience in a leading international law firm or global company
  • proven track record in IT contract area - drafting, review and negotiations
  • experience with (AI) compliance programs support and project mgt skills
  • high affinity for new technology and trends, advanced tech knowledge as a plus
  • spirit to become part of a highly engaged global team in a rapidly changing environment for CCEP`s long term sustainable growth
