The Opportunity

As Head of Shopper Marketing, you will define and lead CCEP Australia’s shopper marketing vision, capability and omnichannel path-to-purchase agenda. You will translate shopper understanding into strategies and activation that deliver stronger shopper, customer and commercial outcomes. As the organisation’s senior authority on shopper marketing, you will establish the long-term strategy and capability roadmap, embed shopper-led thinking across commercial planning, and lead two senior Shopper Marketing Managers across At Home and Away From Home channels.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in North Sydney, reporting to the General Manager, Market Activation & Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the path to purchase: Develop the omnichannel shopper framework across physical and digital environments, identifying missions, barriers and conversion opportunities.

  • Build capability: Create practical frameworks, tools, playbooks, governance and learning that embed shopper-centric planning across the organisation.

  • Drive commercial impact: Partner with Sales, Category, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management and Go-to-Market teams to turn shopper insight into executable growth strategies.

  • Connect globally and externally: Leverage leading practices from global CCEP teams, The Coca-Cola Company, brand partners, customers, agencies and research partners, adapting them for Australia.

  • Lead and develop the team: Coach two senior Shopper Marketing Managers, align channel expertise and foster curiosity, collaboration, accountability and commercial impact.

  • Measure effectiveness: Establish approaches to evaluate shopper marketing performance, support test-and-learn activity and improve business outcomes.

In addition, you will have:

  • Extensive senior-level shopper marketing experience in FMCG, beverages, retail or a similarly complex consumer environment, with measurable commercial results.

  • Deep expertise in shopper behaviour, omnichannel path-to-purchase, digital commerce and customer activation.

  • Experience embedding shopper strategy across commercial planning, category management, customer strategy and market execution.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, coaching and senior-level influencing skills, including influencing without direct authority.

  • Strong commercial judgement and strategic agility, with the ability to turn trends and insights into executable growth strategies.

  • Proven leadership of experienced professionals and success partnering with global or regional teams.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.

What We Offer
