Your new opportunity…

We have a fabulous opportunity to join CCEP on an 12 month fixed term contract as our Manager Group Financial Controlling. Reporting directly to the Director, Group Financial Controlling, you will provide effective financial, statutory and management reporting and sound technical and commercial accounting advice that enables CCEP to measure and achieve its operational and strategic goals. In addition, you will contribute to statutory reporting processes, work on monthly regional consolidation and related reporting activities for the Group, as well as working collaboratively with other key finance partners across CCEP.

Your Key Responsibilities include: 

BPC incharge

  • Responsible for month end consolidation and data verification process for API and reporting to CCEP
  • Raising review queries in regard to balances arising in the statutory format, soliciting feedback and actions taken
  • Meeting the reporting requirements set by CCEP and liaising with Record to Reporting team for closing the periods
  • Reviewing Entity records in BPC system to clear old historic transactions and discontinued entities
  • Maintaining the system to ensure it meet legal, statutory and Australian tax consolidation requirements
  • Liaising with external auditors for audit of consolidation

SOX Control

  • As in charge of BPC consolidation system, completion of SOX testing for assigned SOX controls
  • Ensuring SOX requirements have been met i.e only approve journals are posted
  • Liaising with Operations and CCEP Controlling team to prepare quarterly Flux analysis
  • Evolving the reporting, taking in continuous feedback from stakeholders, the business and employment of “less is more” disclosure philosophy.
  • Preparation of other reporting schedules for period end purposes.

Timetable and instructions

  • Preparation of Group reporting instructions and timetables for quarter, half and full year ends based on CCEP requirements.
  • Continuous adaption to requirements.
  • Setting up meetings with Operational Finance Team to provide guidance and training on the requirements set in the timeline and enforce the need to meet the timeline

Special projects

  • Being actively involved in Project CFIN, new consolidation system and act as a change manager guiding all Business units through the changes and the impact thereof
  • Various adhoc projects, including projects around continuous improvement of all facets of processes detailed above.

Local Statutory Reporting

  • Preparation of local consolidated financial statements, related disclosures and liaising with EY for audit and sign off

About you: 

  • 5+ years financial accounting experience preferably CPA or CA qualified
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and consolidation process
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of financial reporting control processes, financial accounting and management reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral) and ability to communicate/collaborate with business and financial partners across the CCEP organization
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS office & financial systems e.g SAP G/L)
