Right now, we need a Key Account Manager to join the team and do just that!
Your Impact
As the Key Account Manager for a leading national retail partner, you’ll be at the heart of driving profitable growth in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Using your strong commercial and category expertise, you’ll turn shopper, market and customer insights into winning strategies that grow sales, strengthen market position and deliver shared business results.
You’ll build influential customer partnerships, shape category and omnichannel strategies, and work across the business to bring plans to life, identifying opportunities, challenging the status quo and delivering sustainable growth.
Auckland-based and reporting to the Head of Customer, you’ll be an integral part of our Grocery Head Office Sales team. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain strong retail relationships across buying, category, eCommerce and marketing
- Develop and execute customer-specific plans that align with both internal goals and customer needs - ensuring sustainable, profitable outcomes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across the “at home” team to lead initiatives that benefit the broader business.
- Translate aligned customer strategies into actionable plans for the CCEP field team, ensuring clarity and consistency in execution.
- Apply a solutions-focused mindset to address business challenges, using strong analytical and interpersonal skills to drive outcomes.
About You
You bring a proven ability developing and managing successful customer relationships. Your ability to turn data, insights and market trends into clear commercial recommendations will be key to your success. You’ll combine analytical thinking with commercial acumen to inform customer strategies, influence decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Previous FMCG experience, preferably in Commercial, Account Management, Category Management or Customer Development
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Exposure to retail media
- Experience managing and influencing multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently
- High proficiency in Excel - as well as Powerpoint, Circana, SAP, Nielsen, Quantium/Dunnhumby
- Cartology exposure would be a plus
