Exciting opportunity to play a critical role in managing pallet operations across the state. Join & help make magic happen!

The Role

You will be based at our busy facility in Mentone (next door to DFO!) and play a critical role in managing pallet operations across the state. The role is essential in ensuring raw materials are available through safe, efficient, and cost-effective logistics practices, supporting the broader supply chain and operational performance.

A typical day would look like, but not be limited to:

  • Monitor and reconcile daily pallet movements
  • Maintain accurate pallet account records within CHEP / Loscam systems.
  • Investigate and resolve pallet discrepancies to improve accuracy and reduce costs
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure pallets tracked, and documented.
  • Provide pallet reports and insights to management to assist with cost control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers regarding pallet returns and exchanges.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and pallet provider requirements.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Previous experience in pallet control, transport administration, or logistics (CHEP/Loscam knowledge highly regarded).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and manage discrepancies with confidence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using freight management or pallet systems.
  • Clear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • A proactive individual who can work independently and take initiative.
  • Has strong numerical and analytical skills.
