Are you an experienced People & Culture leader who combines strategic thinking with a practical and operational approach? This is an opportunity to shape the people agenda at our Edmonton Manufacturing and Distribution site, partnering with the Site Director and leadership team to make a visible impact across the business.

About our Edmonton Site

Our Edmonton operations produce more than 160 million unit cases of drinks each year across seven manufacturing lines. The site can produce up to 142,000 litres of drink every hour across PET and glass bottling and is the only CCEP site in Great Britain to produce our Oasis drinks and BIB post-mix products. More than 250 colleagues work across Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Safety & Health and Engineering, with experience at Edmonton opening up excellent career opportunities both on site and across our other GB and global locations.

About The Role

Reporting to the Director, People & Culture - GB Customer Service, Supply Chain, Labour & Employee Relations, you'll lead the site's People Plan and labour relations agenda. As a trusted adviser to the Site Director and leadership team, you'll translate our People & Culture strategy into practical, commercially focused plans that help us attract, develop, engage and retain the talent we need now and for the future.
You'll support an operationally complex Manufacturing and Distribution site, partnering across the business to respond to changing priorities and deliver sustainable people outcomes.

What You'll Do

- Partner with the Site Director and leadership team to shape and deliver a People & Culture plan aligned with the site's priorities and wider business strategy.
- Lead the site's talent and succession agenda, develop key talent, strengthen future capability and support early careers activity.
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion and help create an engaging, inclusive workplace.
- Build proactive, constructive relationships with union representatives, maintain effective communication and lead successful pay negotiations.
- Provide clear, commercially focused guidance across recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary and grievance matters, and absence management.
- Lead the site's engagement action plan and support clear, engaging communications that deliver meaningful improvement.

What You'll Bring

- Relevant experience operating at a senior level in People & Culture, HR business partnering, people leadership or a comparable role.
- Experience of partnering with senior operational leaders, constructively challenging decisions and translating business priorities into effective people plans.
- Demonstrable experience of employee and labour relations, including building constructive trade union relationships and contributing to or leading collective consultation and pay negotiations.
- Experience of supporting organisational change, workforce planning or capability-building in a complex operational environment.
- A track record of managing complex and sensitive people matters with sound judgement, integrity and discretion.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at every level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organisation and analytical skills.
- A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience gained in manufacturing, distribution or another complex operational environment would be helpful, and we also welcome relevant transferable experience from other sectors.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will mean developing trusted leadership and union partnerships, strengthening the site's talent pipeline and translating engagement insights into measurable improvements.

How You'll Work

You'll bring a proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach, together with a strong service mindset. You'll be able to prioritise effectively in a changing environment, work across teams and remain focused on delivering the People Plan. Most importantly, you'll be motivated by the opportunity to build strong partnerships and make a lasting difference to our people and our Edmonton site.
