The Opportunity
Join CCEP as a Payroll Officer, supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services for more than 3,000 employees across Australia. As part of our payroll team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining strong compliance with relevant legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
This is a fast-paced role where your payroll expertise, attention to detail and customer-focused approach will make a real impact. You’ll work closely with employees and stakeholders across the business, resolving queries and ensuring payroll processes are delivered to a high standard.
This role is based in Northmead, NSW, with three days onsite from Monday to Wednesday and the flexibility to work from home on the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end fortnightly and monthly payroll processing for up to 3,000+ employees across multiple states.
- Ensure payroll payments, adjustments, superannuation and deductions are processed accurately and on time.
- Resolve payroll-related queries and provide high-quality customer service to employees and stakeholders.
- Interpret and apply relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment contracts across different states.
- Process manual payroll calculations, terminations, employee changes and new starter payroll setup.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure payroll data is kept up to date.
- Manage workplace giving deductions, listings and payments on a monthly basis.
- Support daily allocation and management of payroll requests and incidents across the team.
- Manage and allocate external mailbox enquiries, ensuring requests are actioned within appropriate timeframes.
- Support payroll audit, compliance and governance requirements, including payroll payments and adjustments.
About You
You are an experienced Payroll Officer with strong Australian payroll knowledge and experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You’re highly organised, detail-focused and confident working across complex payroll processes, while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and compliance.
In addition, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience processing Australian payroll in a high-volume environment, ideally supporting 2,500+ employees.
- Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience across multiple states.
- Experience using SAP Payroll systems is essential, with SuccessFactors and Kronos experience highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Excellent administration, organisation, attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and the ability to confidently work with payroll and business systems.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of an organisation.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
