The role:
A filler operator works with the packaging end of a production line. The filler's task is to fill containers with the required number of products before packaging and shipping. The filler also operates filling machines and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure consistency.
Our desired candidate:
A well-presented, highly personable, and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Technical Certificate.
- Minimum 1 years experience in production, FMCG organization, especially in a Manufacturing or Engineering Environment.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards, rules and regulations.
- Self driver and be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Able to work at odd hours when required
- Understanding the process flow in the work area.
- Understanding the working principle of the machine in its area and being able to operate the machine according to the procedure.
- Understanding and being able to do maintenance (PM, Breakdown, CM).
- Understanding and being able to carry out quality checks and take corrective actions if there are irregularities.
- Understanding and being able to identify opportunities and make improvements in the work area.
- Understanding the functions of supporting areas (Utilities, Rawmat, Warehouse, QA, ME) and coordinating well.
- Understanding 14001 (EMS, B3 Handling and MSDS), OHS: OHSAS 18001
- Understanding of GMP, FSSC / ISO 22000 / ISO TS 22002.1 & ISO TS 20002.4
- Understanding ISO 9001
- Understand all company policies and policies that have been made (Safety policy, Food safety policy, CoC, Anti Bribery, Anti Fraud etc.)
