Litter Campaign:
Another one of our passions here at CCEP? Keep our beautiful waterways clean. That’s why our colleagues took part in pirate-themed river clean-ups this summer. Treasure Your River, led by environmental charity Hubbub, is a fantastic initiative we’re supporting. They’ve begun the UK’s largest ever collaborative push to prevent and reduce the amount of litter entering our waterways, aiming to collect 95 tonnes of litter and prevent a further 90 tonnes from entering our rivers.
On one afternoon, our associates had the pleasure of paddle boarding on the River Thames, picking foreign objects ranging from tyres to drinks bottles to car batteries. Doing a social good while having some fun on the river — what could be better than that?
